Optional sightseeing venue; combined with visit to the Jewish Museum

This optional sightseeing visit to the German Museum of Technology will showcase many of Germany’s pioneering advances, for good and ill, dating back to the 19th century. Exhibits include aircraft used in World War II (include a Messerschmitt 110 and a V-1 flying bomb) and the Berlin Airlift. Other exhibits focus on computing, power generation, rail transport, telecommunications, and more. This visit is combined with a visit to the Jewish Museum. Students not going to Sachsenhausen will visit the Jewish Museum, DDR (East Germany) Museum, and German Museum of Technology that day instead as well.
