Members of the Delegation from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education with the Executive Directors of the International History Olympiad, David and Nolwenn Madden
Among the over 600 people in attendance at the 2023 International History Olympiad were members of a distinguished delegation from the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the course of four days, the delegation members attended various competitions, events, and ceremonies, and held discussions with Olympiad staff about how Saudi Arabian students can participate in future Olympiads. Potentially, this could lead to an International History Bee qualifying competition being held in Saudi Arabia beginning with the 2023-24 school year.
The delegation presented Olympiad organizers and International Academic Competitions Executive Directors, David and Nolwenn Madden, with a gift and a plaque on the occasion of their visit. International Academic Competitions expresses its gratitude and thanks to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education for their support and interest in the International History Olympiad, and looks forward to a fruitful and fulfilling partnership for the benefit of Saudi Arabian students for many years to come.
